Hip

Total hip arthroplasty is used for the replacement of total hip joint. By using hip prosthesis, the surgeon can restore mobility, correct deformity and reduce pain in patient’s hip joint. Hip prosthesis is implanted in cases of idiopathic arthrosis, avascular necrosis, congenital hip deformities, post-traumatic damage, rheumatoid arthritis etc. There are cementless and cemented prosthesis, and prosthesis systems consist of several components.
